Couponing adventure

Sorry I don't have any pictures, because I don't have my camera this week, however I have to let the cyber world know all deals I got at Albertsons tonight.

I think my coupon skills are beginning to advance because I paid a total of $19.27 for $126.97 worth of groceries. That is an 87% discount.

In total I bought:
4 boxes of cheerios
6 boxes multi grain cheerios
3 boxes nature valley granola bars
3 boxes cinn toast crunch
1 box golden grams
9 packs of various pillsbury pop biscuits
4 tubes of cookie dough
4 two packs of pie crust
1 box brownie mix
1 box of betty crocker potatoes
3 bags of dry chocolate chip cookie mix
4 yoplait yogurts
and 2 3-packs of grape juice boxes

If you are new to couponing, you are probably wondering how I did this. Honestly I kind of am too. I usually go to the store several times on separate occasions and that helps me to organize all of it in my mind. However, tonight I decided to try to get it all done at once while I had my sister there and our husbands took the children for a little while. I must say it kind of boggled my mind a little bit.

I must say the feeling of all the groceries and seeing all the savings at once was quite rewarding, however I thinkin since I live right up the street from the abies, I still might opt for smaller trips and more of them, just so that my mind doesn't explode.

And yes, that is a lot of sweets. I guess it looks like lots of baked holiday deliveries!
